Preparing the eggs for the plunge Molly looks pensive, no doubt due to the questionable implementation of duct tape

Does this really need a caption? Note the egg apparatus in flight, seen on the grass.

JUST WHAT IS AN EGG DROP YOU ASK?

The idea is to construct a protective device around a (raw) egg that will allow the afore mentioned egg to survive a landing INTACT off the roof of the science building onto concrete. Please keep the soup jokes to yourself.

Sounds easy? The restrictions for this year were:

  • The contraptions must be no larger than 8" in any dimension
  • No parachutes allowed (ask if unsure if your design violates this)
  • The lightest device that keeps humpty dumpty together wins!
